One of the leading rust conversion solutions in Egypt

Convert rust into a paint-ready protective layer… no sanding required

INT Rust Converter chemically transforms iron oxide (Fe₂O₃) into a stable protective layer that functions as a primer. After curing, the surface is ready for direct coating without additional surface preparation.

Rust Converter & Primer
Practical note: if rust is layered, flaky, or delaminated from the metal, remove the loose rust first. A converter is not magic—it is chemistry.

Why INT?

Reduce surface preparation and get a protective layer that provides an excellent base for coating.

Conversion + protection

Converts rust into a corrosion-resistant layer.

Excellent paint base

Acts as a primer and can be coated after curing.

Easy application

Brush or spray application.

Saves time & cost

Less prep, faster work.

Water-miscible

Miscible with water (per datasheet).

Non‑toxic

Non‑toxic (with standard safety precautions).

How to use

  1. Cleaning Remove dust and loose/flaky rust.
  2. Apply Apply an even coat by brush or spray.
  3. Wait Allow 6 hours for full chemical conversion.
  4. Repeat (if needed) Apply a second coat if residual rust remains.
  5. Paint Paint directly over the treated surface without sanding.
Important: Best for light to medium rust. Remove heavily flaking/layered rust mechanically first, then apply the converter.

Frequently asked questions

Is sanding required before application?

No sanding is required. Only remove contaminants and loose/flaky rust.

Why does rust sometimes remain underneath?

Usually the rust was layered and delaminated. Remove loose scale so the product can reach the surface.

Can it be painted over?

Yes. After 6 hours, paint directly without sanding (per the datasheet).

Brush or spray?

Both. Choose based on area size and geometry.
